Meet Santiago

We are thrilled to introduce Santiago!

Santiago is a highly skilled hairstylist with over 30 years of experience. Growing up in Philadelphia, Santiago was immersed in the hair world from a young age, thanks to his mother, also a stylist.

After graduating from Gordon Phillips Beauty Academy in 1993, he quickly made a name for himself in one of Northeast Philly's top salons. Santiago’s commitment to his craft paid off when he landed a position on Goldwell Of Pennsylvania’s Artist Team in 1996. During this time, he worked directly with the world's finest stylists, including Mike Karg, celebrity stylist and the owner of the renowned Karg Shears.

Santiago's expertise spans everything from highlights and balayage to corrective color, short-hair styles, men's styles, and barbering. His work with Goldwell of Pennsylvania’s Artistic Team alongside hair industry titans has only deepened his skill set to give you an experience that is hard to find anywhere let alone this close to home!

Not only is Santiago a great stylist, but he's also passionate about continuing education and staying informed on the latest techniques and hair trends. Having co-owned salons, he loves being an in-salon educator sharing his knowledge with other stylists and clients.

 
What truly sets Santiago apart is his warm, engaging personality. He loves connecting with his clients, listening to their needs, and providing personalized advice and a one-of-a-kind salon experience.

Outside the salon, Santiago is a true family man who loves spending time with his wife and son. His passions outside of hair are his family, golf and music. Whether it’s a road trip with his wife or a trip to the golf course with his son he makes the most of his free time. He’s also perfectly happy with a movie night at home.

Fun fact: Santiago is also a very talented musician! His creative juices don’t stop when he leaves the salon. He has produced his own original album as of 2021 and was a member of a very popular local Philly band until he relocated with his family.
